Dr. Sandra Zecher is a PhD Psychologist who deals daily with the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. She uses the Quadriciser daily and because of it she mentally, physically feels more vibrant. She is able to use her hands and arms in a way she could not use them before.
Her protruding stomach has gone down and the swelling she once had in her legs has gone as well. Prior to using the Quadriciser, Dr. Zecher’s legs were filled with water and very swollen. Once she began using the Quadriciser, she quit taking the water pills and the swelling went down naturally along with the pain from too much pressure.
“As soon as I get on this thing, the circulation starts going,” says Zecher. While using the Quadriciser, she begins moving her hands as she talks. This is something that an MS patient cannot normally do because as Dr. Zecher points out, “MS patients can only do one thing at a time.” “It’s a devastating disease. You never know from which way it’s going to attack but with this machine, I feel it reactivates my brain, I no longer have a problem with word retrieval.”
Many people with MS battle with depression, when asked about her own battle she said, “There is no question, the depression goes away. Every time I used the machine at Dr. Neubauer’s, I never felt depressed, I was always happy and full of life.”
At Dr. Neubauer’s they only wanted her to use the machine for an hour and she wanted to use it two hours, now that she has her own machine she uses it every day for as long as she wants. “It perks her up,” says Zecker’s husband, Paul. He explains that his wife is in a wheelchair, she doesn’t walk at all and using the Quadriciser is her only form of exercise. “It’s essential,” says Mr. Zecher.
Dr. Zecher says only good things about the Quadriciser and wishes everyone could have one even if they don’t need it. “If you are a couch potato, this will get you going.”
